The Center achieves its goals through community awareness, education and assistance to families victimized by domestic violence. The center is a non-profit organization that relies substantially on private donations.

Contrary to popular belief, domestic
violence is not confined to any certain
race, religion or income level.
The Domestic Violence Center has
been serving the Santa Clarita Valley
for 21 years.
In the last 12 months the center has
handled approx. 500 calls from
victims in need of assistance.
Last year, 22 families in need of a
safe house stayed at the center’s
emergency shelter.
We also offer support groups in
English and Spanish. |
At the Santa Clarita Domestic Violence Center, we aim to promote and preserve non-violent non-abusive family systems through intervention, prevention and education. We believe in empowering victims to overcome domestic violence. We do so by providing round the clock shelter and counseling with professionalism and compassion to families in crisis due to violence in the home. We will work with victims as liaisons in the court system, law enforcement and all public agencies. Our goal is to raise public awareness of physical, emotional and sexual abuse in relationships in order to eliminate the cycle of violence. If you believe that you or someone you know may be a victim of domestic violence, please call us at 661-259-HELP.
