Contrary to popular belief, domestic
violence is not confined to any certain
race, religion or income level.
The Domestic Violence Center has
been serving the Santa Clarita Valley
for 25 years.
In the last 12 months the center has
handled approx. 500 calls from
victims in need of assistance.
Last year, 22 families in need of a
safe house stayed at the center’s
emergency shelter.
We also offer support groups in
English and Spanish.
Volunteer Services
Volunteers provide a critical role at the center.
Volunteers are now being recruited for the following positions:
- Childcare during support group meetings
- Event staff at fundraising events
- Office support
- Dentists to help families with dental care
- Lawyers - to work pro bono
- Handyman
